Build story
Started out 100% Factree and with a full front end rebuild, she had pretty good bones so things slowly started to snowball from there.. first came a 3" Rough Country bodylift that the wife helped install last Valentine's day. Went with that brand because it came with bumper relocation brackets front and rear for that Factree appearance. That's all a guy had really planned on (or so I thought). I took to the Google machine and found some pretty fancy wheels that were period correct and the MAIN thing, cheap! So scooped those on the line Right Now!!.. "Mickey Thompson Classic lock" and at that very time was offered a snazzy deal on some new 40" tires.. a guy couldn't turn that deal down. So after that purchase I needed to compensate a bit more, so went to the Amazon and ordered a 6" Rough Country lift that we snipped together on the rocks, our driveway was really rocky aswell.. the rear leafs were as saggy as the neighbor kid wearing his sisters jeans, so did the right thing and added an add-a-leaf. That's pretty much where this gal sits today. Expecting some parts from LMC shortly, including door seals, belt line seals and some NEW carpet as well. I think that pretty much covers it... I Don't Know.\r
This body style is known as an OBS so playing on that and being that shes blue in color I've named this unit OneBadSmurf. (That's also my Instagram Handle so if you'd like to see more of onebadsmurf and her progression scoot on over there.)\r
Its My first build and a family effort, my hope is it will become an heirloom and something the kids will want to take to grad and so on.\r
Thanks for looking everybody and GOOD LUCK!!
