Build story
I was inspired by many YouTube channels like Junkyard digs, thunderhead289, and Vice grip garage to start wrenching on this baby. The 1964 Buick Electra 225 has been sitting for 30 years! My parents used the car, which is my grandfather's, for their wedding in 1990 and then my grandfather parked it. The interior is mint besides the driver seat. I believe the car "may" have been repainted once. She needs a lot of help and unfortunately the coronavirus has thrown a "wrench" in things. My grandfather loves the fact that I am working on the car and actually purchases the parts for me to work on the car. His underlying health condition is making matters worse and so I don't think he can spend more money on the project. I would love to spend my own money on the project, but unfortunately since I am 21 the funds are tight. This car would be a wonderful cruiser and I think that giving my parents a ride in it would bring back wonderful memories for them and especially dragging main for my grandfather.
