Build story
It has a 2003 6.0 that had been in storage for 16 years. It came from a roll over suburban with 4800 miles. \r
I resealed the 4l80 trans, and installed TMS CNC heads and cam. Next, I rebuilt and installed a ford 9 inch with 3:89 gears, Power Stop disc brakes, and installed larger wheel studs and had the wheels powder coated. I built the transmission mount but bought motor mounts and wiring harness from Current Performance. My buddies at Texas LSX installed the LSA supercharger and did the tuning. I had watched LS swaps on YouTube and wanted to try to see what I could do. The swap took about a year, with lots of time devoted to figuring out the mechanics. I learned a lot for a 69 year old's first-time LS swap. But I also have lots of fun taking friends and family for a ride.
