2001 Cummins 3.9 ISB 170 rear gear train fully electronic 4 cylinder. Allison 1000 transmission with SAE 3 bell. Speedway grand national full floating ford 9” with Strange aluminum center 3.00 gears. Disk brakes all 4 corners. Hydro boost brakes. A lot of sheet metal work.

Build story
Started a couple years ago. Brought it home and just started going for it on the side of the house. Tore it down with an engine lift and cut the frame and shortened it up. Made a bunch of cross members and such to get the engine in. Lots of measuring and more cutting. Once happy I took to the local powder coating outfit and got it done up nice. Then began the sheet metal. A set of hand shears, a cheap o angle iron brake and a bead roller. Trans tunnel and fire wall were made. After many moons it’s on the road. My grandfather once put a CAT in a square body C10 and I always wanted to put a diesel in one. I remember playing in it as kid. Also my Dad was a diesel mechanic for decades and he gets a kick out of it. It will never see paint as it is to be driven and my kids use it as a jungle gym.
