Build story

Bought the truck off my uncle 2 years back, he had it torn apart in his back forty for 15 years and it was slowly going to shit ... original Saskatchewan truck brought to ontario.\r
I started with a bag of parts a frame and a complete cab ... and wanted something better then the shitty 239 flathead that was in it... so i bought a clapped out 1st gen cummins with low mileage and a rusted out everything.\r
Tore the dodge to shreads, saved the engine, the bruce jenner, the rear axle and the front hubs and brake shit. With an even bigger bag of junk i took the 51 frame cleaned it up tore off all the old 51 BS and started slapping dodge parts on a mercury... i originally stretched the frame 3 feet then shortened the frame 6 feet, made custom cross memebers and mounts to fit the engine and trans down in the frame, got the dana 70 rear end plastered in there with a custom four link with bags i decided to leave the solid axle in the front ... fuck messing with a arms and all the acraments to get right, took the drum brakes off the front and machined the dodge hubs to fit the ford bearings made custom backing plates to hold the calipers and mounted the booster under the hood somehow.\r
Interior is basic ... stock dash board with extra gauges mounted under it, B&M shifter with custom wrench mount, a safari van rear seat and lots of dynamat \r
I Found a minty 51 ford box cleaned up some rust then stretched it over 3x the size of my wiener which was a foot total.. to make it look proportional ... the truck looked to short. Then i widened the rear fenders 10 inchs to fit the stock dual tires.\r
I made a custom exhaust kit outta shit laying around... found some 6x6 square tubing and diamond cut some massive stacks, slapped on a hornblaster horn kit with 5 gallon tank to murder peoples ears when the decide to cut me off ... and to use the air to keep the bags pumped up. \r
The truck Has been driving but i can't keep any thing drivable for to long before more ideas come and i want to change stuff! Going to build a custom lowboy gooseneck on bags someday to tow around my dad's 1931 Ford coupe.\r
Its currently torn back apart and im doing a custom for link in the front with air bags \r
Its not 100% finished the spider web of wiring needs to be finished, front and rear glass need to be put in, and air system needs buttoning up but still minty as fuck
