Build story

I got this jeep in early summer 2012 in ruff shape but drivable. In summer of 13 I stripped the 3rd gear. So I started to collect parts to rebuild the jeep. I wanted fuel injection but wanted something different then your "normal swaps". I found a wreaked 91.5 D250 with a cummins 6 bt for 1000 bucks. Cant get much easier fuel injection then mechinal. I started removing the cummins on july 3rd 2014. I plated the jeep frame with 3/16 and started cutting brackets from 1/4 plate with my torches and drilling holes with my harbor freight step bits. (It was a labor of love). I made the suspension from ideas in my head. Tested them with string and scrap steel. It works awesome. There isnt much flex do to the heavy springs but it doesnt bind or act weird while driving so it a win in my book! Started doing firewall mods and rust repair to the new (less rusty) tub. I quickly realize I don't have the patience for rust repair. So along came prime days and they delivered my new tub about a week later. Modified the firewall and sent it to paint. Paint was done by a local guy that does great work but I told him dont go to crazy making it perfect, it's just a jeep. Cuz of the firewall I had to redo the heater box under the dash. (that sucked!) Got it all fitting nice now and started wiring it up. It was cut, spliced, added to so many times 90 % was replaced. I'm not a mechanic or anything. I'm actually a farrier. I haven't any training in the field of vechical building/ repair at all. I learned most of what I know from my first jeep you'll see in the video. The last 10% took 90% of the time. I finally got in on the road last summer. It almost caught fire from a bad alternator rebuild. Rewired everything under the hood and got a new self excited alternator. I have about 300 miles on it and couldnt be happier on how it turned out. It went to the alignment shop July 3rd 2019. 5 years to the day it was back on the road but its technically not done yet. I'll upload an image of the burnt wires from the bad alternator
