Build story

This is my 40 Hudson Eight, aka Buxom Betty. She is basically my around town daily driver. I like different and cheap. I grew up poor and still dont have a lot of money so I have learned a lot out of necessity. The motor and trans I bought recently from a friend and was originally installed in a Buick Wildcat by my high school auto shop in 1988,so they are the only relics of my younger days with cars. I bought the Hudson two years ago as an unfinished frame off restoration basket case for 1200.00. I sold the original driveline and some odds and ends, probably making half my money back. This is the most work I have done to a car. I have made a lot of cars run and also engine swaps but never so much assembly or modifications. I had to learn to weld and have spent a ton of time researching this and that. I've made a few mistakes too but good lessons for the next build. I'm not really sure how far I will take it,it may just stay just like this or who knows what next year will bring.
