Rust, lots of layers of paint to hold the rusty parts together, 28" swampers, Power-Lok front/rear

Build story

I call it "Spare Parts" as I have over 20 IH's in my back yard. Bought originally many years ago as a parts truck solely for the rear 1/4 glass, (I have several other Travelalls). One day had time to kill as I was waiting on parts for another build, started tinkering on this old beast, inside of 30 min. I got the the BG 241 straight six running like a sewing machine, as things progressed I found a Pertronix in my parts pile, cut out the rusted out passenger door pillar, replaced it with scrap steel & a door from one of my other T-alls, Replaced the rusted out gas tank, 1st test drive I busted the output shaft on the trans, swapped that 3 speed on the tree for a T98, Also swapped the rear end, installed Power-lok front/rear, All from parts that I had, traded for an old set of swampers & mounted them on a set of stock Scout wheels, scored a full length rack from a 4x4 van, had a case of OG Green rattle cans I picked up @ a swap meet, so now its all one color! Dropped a valve, then picked up the same motor on CL for FREE, combined best parts from both engines & I was back on the road! All total less than $1000 (Probably <$800) for an old beater parts hauler/ Dog Limo. It won't win any races & the brakes are pretty sketchy but I get thumbs up where ever I take it!
