Build story
I bought this car from a friend who bought the car and brought it back from Arizona. It had been setting for roughly 25 years. 15 in Arizona and 10 in a barn in north western Iowa. I used to have a 72 RS and I got this car to replace it. This car was built on a budget. I traded parts to good friends for other parts, and sold lots of other parts to fund the parts I had to buy new. I originally had a 402 in it but decided to go the LS route. I did my research and tried to do everything as cheap as I could. Since the car had been setting so long in the Arizona sun, all the interior was baked and brittle. I bought new door panels but repaired and restored all other panels sourced from cars in junk yards. All the suspension has been rebuilt and or replaced. I wanted this car to be a cornering monster and be affordable to drive daily. It currently has 3.08s with a Super T10. It is a blast to drive and it is fulfilling my gear banging muscle car itch again.
