Blue Thunder started when I traded a PT Cruiser with a blown head gasket for the truck. I mostly wanted it to take junk to the dump but ended up fixing a lot of stuff. Mostly because every time I go to use it something else breaks. Repairs started with the left rear brake which all brake components were gone. I have rebuilt both axles, all brakes, engine top end, exhaust, intake and welded patch panels over a big rust hole using whatever sheet metal I had lying around. The Cherry bomb mufflers really bring the thunder from the 460 and are held securely with water heater strap and electrical tape just like when it rolled off the assembly line.
