Build story
My first truck was a newer model, I put a lot of work into it but it was a utility truck so she wasn’t winning any beauty contests! Unfortunately I lost ‘er in a wreck but, later I got the truck I’m entering in this contest! I had a lot of practice on running wires, welding and making things work with my first truck that everything went Smooth on the second! When I got the truck it was basically bone stock with no working glow plugs and a bad rear seal, but it only had 130,000 miles on it and I’d be the 3rd owner! It worked out great and it was quite a find! \r
A 6.9 with a 5 speed! I used an old \r
Bud Light beer tap handle and tapped a hole in the shifter stick and then fastened them together, I looked like a truck driver when I shifted! Cb radio may not be as big as it use to be , but I help to keep it alive with my radio and have talked 25 miles with my truck! I enjoy flying the American Flag and definitely get a lot of people who look and wave, at stoplights some ask about what model and what year it is! I’ve definitely got my hands on a classic, but with A High-tech Redneck spin on it!! At this very moment I’m getting a new transmission put in it, so she’ll be ready to ride anywhere! \r
I really hope you guys get a lot of entries! This is an awesome event with all the turmoil going on during this time, we need some positivity! \r
