Engine: 4BT (3.9L) Cummins. Stock bottom end and cam (unknown miles). ARP head studs, ported and o-ringed head. P7100 PPump with full cut Delivery Valves, no fuel plate, 4k gov and other fun things.\r
Turbos/Exhaust: Schwitzer S3B (pretty much an S467) over a KKK K27. Savage Fab custom tubular header, custom interstage hot pipe, custom exhaust routed out the wiper cowl (no cuts in the hood). Makes around 100psig currently.\r
Transmission: Full manual valve body 47RE (Dodge truck transmission).\r
Suspension: Front suspension is still factory Prius suspension (not including steering rack). Rear is a custom back half with a Ford 8.8 rear end and coil overs.\r
Interesting stuff (aside from a ton of custom parts throughout the car): \r
-It is still the Prius chassis and not a body swap or a tube chassis car.\r
-Rear wheels are factory Prius wheels widened to 15x10 currently with Hoosier Drag Radials. \r
-Full interior will be going back in the car including rear seats. \r
-Factory push button start still works.\r
-New drivetrain only weighs about 100-150lbs more than the factory one.

Build story

I did this because it was something I have wanted to do for a while. I see a lot of comments from people implying that I did this just to make others happy, for the internet, etc. As it turns out people out there seem to just enjoy the concept as much as I do. My main goal for the car was to keep it looking as much like a Prius as possible, inside and outside. It has been a huge project and on top of that I really only get to work on it in my free time so I have been working on the car for close to 4 years now. Before I took it back apart to finish everything properly I wanted it to be able to drive under its own power and do burnouts. All of the videos that have been shared so far are exactly that. This is why it looks as unfinished as it does (parts mostly tacked in place, many zip ties, random meters and gauges, no firewall or trans tunnel, etc. I do get a kick out of all the critics pointing out how unfinished the car is or criticizing the placement of things though. Currently it is all back apart actually finishing things properly so it can finally look like a finished car.\r

The dyno results surprised me with how much it made. As mentioned before it was barely together and no tuning or anything was done. The car made 358hp/558lbft on a mustang dyno. This was with 16deg of timing, no intercooler (just a bunch of slapped together water injection), and full fuel apparently coming on around 10psig of boost (that and the water really killed the low end on the dyno and made it smoke a ton). Found out about the full fuel issue after they dyno unfortunately.
