Bought this truck off a customers kid (20 something kid to me) who had bought a new $70,000 2019 dodge Ram 2500 and had set this aside like he was mad at it. When I found it it was parked up against the bushes in their driveway looking more yellow than black. I took it home gave it a bath cut out the lower half of the door skins. I am not a goo or even a bad welder so Riveted home depot galvanized sheet metal to the doors and used a hammer to round the edges over. I think they turned out just dandy. I only had a can of rust oleum flat black so that is what i used to paint my new doors. Then I giggled the hop up box that the kid had wired in just enough that it started working again. I dumped several bottles of transmission no leak in and now she only drinks a quart of go fluid every few days instead of each morning just to wake up. The water pump soon gave out and left me over heating for several days till I decided to shore that weak link up with a brand new unit from the local advanced auto parts. I finally took it too a local self wash and gave the old girl a good thorough bath. Man thats when I fell in love; all that wet black paint, she almost looked new again. She even got to tow my daily driver GMC Sierra 1500 home when it lost its idler pulley. She not a show truck she is a go truck.
