Body swapped 1950 International L-130 onto 2004 gmc sierra 2500hd 4x4 frame. 2004 gmc 6.0 liter gas engine, 4L80e transmission. 2004 gmc dash also fit in. Custom built flatdeck.
Build story
I started off by finding a cheap project truck. The truck was mostly disassembled and someone elses project set aside. I put it back together and it turned out to be a running driving 1950 International truck. However i wanted something reliable and have parts readily available. My boss had an old (2004 sierra 2500) plow truck he didnt use anymore. So that turned into the donor drivetrain and chassis. Just plugged away on it after work in the evenings and pieced it all together to end up with a good daily driver/work truck complete with small welder/generator, homemade swing crane, and tool cabinets.
