Build story

Building this car for a friend that wanted a muscle car as her consolation prize for getting divorced. She didn't have the money to get a runner in any condition so we picked up the Skylark roller (no powertrain or interior) and then found an Escalade that was ready for a new life as a donor. Freshened up the engine with some new seals and gaskets, converted the trans to 2WD, and mounted it in the car.

UPDATE: The car now runs and drives. It's not quite ready to be a daily. It needs a new driveshaft and the wiring needs tidied up. But it is a fun car to rip on occasion.
