1981 Ford F-150 Ranger 4x4 with a 351M and C6 transmission. I purchased this truck in non-running condition, got it going and got it home. Ive worked to fix multiple issues over the 10 months or so and love driving it around. Square body Chevrolets are everywhere, but you sure dont see many shortbed 4x4 Fords driving around these days.
Repairs Ive made include: Rebuilt carb, new valve cover gaskets, full tune up, new mechanical fuel pump, pivot bushings, radius arm bushings, new rubber brake lines, wheel cylinders and hardware, transfer case output shaft seals, freeze plugs, heater pipes in block, heater core, voltage regulator, battery cables, engine wire harness, fuel tank, fuel sending unit, Thrush muffler, inner and outer tie rod ends, front shocks, rear shocks, new BFG KO2 All Terrains 32x11.5R15. All work was done by me at home.
