15 inch ebay rims with ford e150 hubcaps, peak style. Got a dash pad cover and a new master brake cylinder at one point if that counts as a mod. The floors are a little mushy and the speedholes are marginal going straight into the trunk. Dont keep anything back there you want to keep dry.

Build story

Absolute cheapest barebones Gran Torino money could buy in 1973, probably a grandmas church car. No A/C, no V8, no radio, nothing. Makes you wonder why they didnt just get the base Torino instead... The factory optioned 250ci 4.1L inline 6 makes 93 horsepower and 197 torque in 1973, AKA probably 40 horsepower in 2021 if we are lucky. Also, it has 136k miles. 0-60? somewhere between 16 and 18 seconds. I have not met a single person who knew this engine even came in this car. Anyways, entire thing was rattlecan spray painted green by someone at some point for some reason, and i have somehow made it look even worse. This is my daily driver in all seasons but winter, which is just summer here in Wisconsin. Future plans are to just kinda run it until that 250 dies. Tried doing a burnout once and the engine stalled. The neapolitan paint job usually lures in more people at the car shows than the fully restored vehicles, but that might just be out of disgust...

As slow and ugly as this car is, i cant bring myself to sell it because its just a good cruising rig, and honestly thats what everyone needs at least one of in their life.
