Build story

So what we’ve got here is a beautiful example of a Buick skylark. Everything done to the car, I’ve wanted it to emulate what would’ve been to a street car back in the day. So you’ve got a ‘69 big block in a ‘69 car, a 4 speed and really big tires on a stock rear end haha. It’s got an early model 780 cfm quadrajet carb that lets you feel the acceleration no matter what part of the gas pedal you’ve got going on. Fun fact: quadrajets atomize fuel thrice while holleys only atomize fuel twice and so quads create a better fuel mixture. This car has had four paints jobs (cream, blue, red, and now yellow) and a white vinyl top sprayed black. It was originally very raked but I returned it to stock height because I like the stance. Now when I bought the car, someone had swapped a ‘63 Pontiac Catalina rear end into it. Which jammed the driveshaft both into the trans and into the rear end and destroyed them through a long process of driving, and so I found a BOP 8.2 rear end at a swap meet and some friends and I put it in. What was nice about this is it had a disc conversion already done to it, so that improved the brakes as well. Come find out my doors are actually off of a 68 skylark, and I couldn’t be happier with my hodgepodge
