I purchased this truck for $400 in pretty good shape for an Alberta truck. But it had a target painted on it only bad drivers could see. The night I went to pick up the truck someone sideswiped it before I showed up. It’s been rear ended, sideswiped, backed into numerous times since then. Of course those bad drivers conveniently drove away without leaving any sort of a note. So it just became a beater and nothing ever really got fixed unless it absolutely needed to. One day the computer decided that it would develop its own multi cylinder cut out system and stop firing one injector. From that day forward it became lovingly known as the V5. I parked it for a short while not intending to drive it anymore and removed a few parts off of it for another truck I had bought. But I sold that truck and I needed something to drive again so it came back out of retirement. Only problem was at that point it had no taillights or harnesses. So the custom quick release magnetic tow lights were installed. And then of course being in Canada and it only be in 2 Wheel Dr. and me being cheap and running bald summer tires I put her in the weeds one day. Well pulling it out with the tractor It received an unintended grill mod when the front of the truck unfortunately met the bucket of the tractor. Put about 100,000 km on this thing in a few years Daily driving it. It’s hauled far more than it ever should and towed things far too heavy to be towed by it, but it just keeps kicking. It’s It currently resides in the tree row on a friends farm awaiting its time to return to use once again.
