The car was a mess when I got it. Found rust on the floor, bad patches, crossed plug wires, exhaust manifold gaskets blocking exhaust ports, broken harness wires, every bushing and ball joint up front was broken or bad, the list goes on. After I fixed everything I did the mods. There's more rust I'm not going to bother with. I'll get a roller and swap everything one of these days. In a couple months it'll be getting a custom ground cam. Next year, nitrous. Of course the clutch and rear will break at any time between now and then. Best part is I'm only $4500 into the whole thing including first year insurance and registration. I wheel and deal as much as possible. The only brand new parts are the gm clutch master and slave prefill and front end parts. Everything else is used parts.
