Pertronix 6 volt points eliminator, replaced the Rochester carburetor with a Carter carb and installed a manual choke.
Build story
I found it in a shed about 10 years ago, covered in dust, but it was restored in the 90’s to original style. Mice had eaten up the original interior so it got a new seats, carpet, headliner, kick panels, deck lid, visors, all but the door panels, they are original, brakes were gone through , completely new fuel system, tune up, valve adjustment and buffed the outside, I added the visor and rear bumper extensions. Runs and drives like a 53 should. Even the AM tube radio works! Original SD car with mint condition tax receipt and insurance papers in the glove box dated 1954
