Build story
I have been building this car with my father for the last year. Although he has owned this car for over a decade. it was an anniversary gift from my mother. He spent most of his time over the road when I was a child to take care of his family. There was times he was gone for months at a time. He gave up so much to help put a roof over our heads. having this dilemma he never had time to work on this car. I really wanted to accomplish two things with this car. most importantly spend time and learn new skills from him, and also help provide parts and labor to build this awesome dune buggy for him as a gift. I myself have spent over 15,000 dollars on this car for him. Probably over 350 hours in labor. Granted I do get to drive the car occasionally myself it is ultimately his. It has been one of the best experiences of my life getting to know my father better. Although it still needs a bit of cosmetic work, I figured we could show you guys where we are at so far. the car runs and drives great as is. we have more plans for this car and cant wait to finish them in the coming future.
