13 year project. Started with a shell and a frame. All of the work was done by me except the sand blasting. Hellwig frame brace, Ford 9 inch rear diff, edelbrock rear control arms, SPC front control arms, AFX tall spindles W/C5 front brakes, and KORE3 C5 rear brakes with integrated parking brake. 5th generation Camaro fuel bucket grafted to the stock Chevelle fuel tank, Vaporworks pressure regulator. LS2/T56 combo out of a 2006 Pontiac GTO. Using stock GTO wiring harness from headlights to taillights, BMW E46 convertible front seats, lots of custom touches. Drove it for the first time about 3 months ago.

Build story

I wanted a 70 Chevelle since I was a kid. I couldn’t afford a nice one so I bought a rolling shell and frame. I wanted an LS7, but couldn’t afford it so I bought a wrecked 06 GTO and parted it out. I kept a ton of pieces that I thought I could use on my Chevelle project and parted out the rest. I have really high standards but don’t want to pay anyone else to do the work. So it takes me a long time to get stuff done trying to balance the project, family and work. I can’t wait to drive it longer than around the block.
