Build story
My Dad and I are building this currently. Just wanted to see if we could cram a gallon of stuff into a quart jar - and it does fit eventually. It’s taken 6 years to get this far but hopefully it’ll be making noise this summer.
There are a lot cheaper alternatives than a turbo big block but I wanted a different engine swap while still keeping it Ford powered. I built the engine myself as well as the rear end and transmission build (fingers crossed, my first transmission build). We did all of the work in our own shop, so it took us longer but saved me a ton of money. There were a lot of firsts for Dad and I both so if nothing else, it’s taught us a lot.
