She’s pretty much factree. Studebaker 289/4bbl 3 speed with overdrive, dana 44 with 3.31 twin traction.

Build story

Her name is Dotti. She sat in a Missouri garage from 1972 or 3 til 2018. The guy I bought it from bought it from the estate auction of the second owners. This was the old man’s hot rod, and he passed away in 73 and she never let go of his car. She’s a little rough underneath, but I’ve got a welder and a rust free floor Pan from Cali. She runs great. When I got her she still had the original plug wires from 58. They worked too bit when I pulled them they crumbled in my hands. She’s got a Mallory ignition from the 60’s and I added new msd wires. The original carb worked but had no accelerator pump. I got a kit, soaked it, rebuilt it, and found it had a warped top that was sealed by the old fuel varnish. I threw a 600 Edelbrock on it and she runs like a champ. Or maybe she flys like a hawk. Only other mods are radial tires and dog dish hubcaps, so I could set aside the 58 only hubcaps that we’re factree.
