Build story
Pulled from the back of a landscaping lot where it had sat for 3 years. When I was 17 I purchased it for $500, and it became my first project. Being that it was an Iowa car it was rough. Spent lots of time and money getting it road worthy, including swapping out the rotted and rusted exhaust for a custom dual pipe setup. Ended up blowing the tired 305 on the way to work, so I swapped in a 400 mile crate SBC 350 from a rolled 1984 K10. The topper was free from a friend of my grandpa’s. It’s been the most fun vehicle I’ve ever driven and it’s been great learning how to work on cars with the help of my grandpa.
