I live in NC but bought the scout knowing it has sat for over 2 years in Georgia. I went with my wife, 2 year old son and some friends and drove to Georgia to drive it back home. Picked it, did an oil change on it bought a battery and changed the oil at 1030 on a Saturday night, cleaned it out then drove it Sunday all 600 miles from Georgia to NC with no rear shocks in it. Had to stop every 70 miles because I could only fit 7 gallons of gas in the tank. Me and my buddy defintely got carbon monoxide poisoning because the top didn't have the top door on it and the exhaust exits under the floor board right behind the driver and passenger seat. Four wheeled it for a few years stock as can be on 31s and used trump money and put a lift on it in my front yard with it on Jack stands. I did the lift kit a few days after having a surgery to have one of my parathyroids taken out of my neck. Haven't been able to wheel it yet but I have a trip planned at the end of July to go with a few of my marine corps buddies that live in Arizona and Florida. It's 100 percent stock driveline. Has a 345 v8 with the t19 close ratio 4 speed and dana 20 transfer case, dana 44 front and rear axles with 3.07 gears.
