Originally a regular Kohler K-301 12hp that had a governor issue. Swapped to a Kohler K241 10hp fully rebuilt bored .030 over.
Build story
Originally pulled from a small engine mechanics backyard where it had been sitting for atleast 15 years. Steering components were all frozen, original only took a cleaning the points that were exposed to the outdoors and some gas and it was running. Governor had an issue so I rebuilt a 10hp engine I had for $100 and did as much as I could to make power out of it. It will drift trail corners like a dream. It went from sitting in an old man’s backyard to hitting mudholes and riding trails.
