Build story
I purchased the car with my dad at 17 in high school as a father/son build on the weekends. Bought the car in rough shape with a stripped interior and did not safely run and drive. It was being used as a donor vehicle for another cougar project. We gave the car a second chance, restoring different aspects of the car such as brakes, electrical, and interior every single weekend throughout my Junior and Senior years of high school. It was this project with my Dad that motivated me to study Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Design in Michigan and become truly passionate about building projects with friends since. Now that restoration work has been mostly completed, modifications for street/strip power have begun starting with building up the transmission and hopefully a top end build for the engine as inspired by the VGG engine build series!
