Garaged since 1986?? 94,500 miles??? $3500???? NO RUST???? HELL YEA. As I was channeling my inner VGG and JRD, I for real drove all the way to Nebraska from Indiana (where rust is quite prevalent lol) to pick this thing up. Long story short, I RTV’ed all the leaks, under the car and on the engine, rebuilt the carb, all new brakes, aired a couple tires up etc etc etc etc etc... so I could possibly drive it back home. I did just that. Got it home, replaced the good running 350 with a better running short big block 455 with the 400 transmission with headers. My neighbors basically hate me. I’m just a college student that loves old things ig lol.
