Build story
The project began in may 2013. I was 16 years old at the time and began the restoration with help and guidance from my Dad. Unfortunately the car required substantial welding and we spent 4 years worth of evenings and weekends repairing the rust.
In 2017 I started the bodywork. The entire paint process took another year as I was living 120 miles away at university. I painted the car myself, overnight in a "home made" spray booth. It is by no means perfect but I have learnt lots of new skills along the way.
Once the car was painted in November 2018 progress accelerated. The engine was installed before Christmas and I had the wiring complete by the end of January.
I took the car to its debut car show in May 2019.
No car is ever finished however for now I am content with its current state
