Originally a 400/C6 auto car it is now a 429CJ with a 4speed top loader, rear end is a Ford 9” with rear disc conversion, 31 Spline moser axels, 3:50 gears, and a spool.
Build story
I traded a 1977 f150 that a built a motor for for this car. All of the parts I’ve added or swapped on this car have been traded or bartered for. The parts were mostly used parts that I’ve refurbished. I’ve paid for this car and upgrades in blood sweat and tears. This car was my daily driver for quite a few years. It developed a lifter issue where a lifter would collapse at or above 4000 RPM so I garaged it for 5 years. Now the 429 is back out, on the stand and disassembled. I’m currently working on neatening up the engine compartment and ordering parts to rebuild the engine. It’s on its way back to terrorizing the streets of Tucson Arizona
