I purchased the car around 2 years ago now for $1000 CAD and I believe I kept it out of a junk yard due to having a few different issues with it when purchased, (i.e. ignition module, drivers cv axle, no key for locks) But I was able to grab all the parts needed from my local junk yard and got it back on the road, I have been daily driving it since I fixed it and it has been more reliable than any car I have driven before it, its also the first car I have purchased with my own hard earned money. All work on the vehicle was done by
myself and my dad was amazing and helped do some of the work on it as when I first got it I was working full time and it would have taken about 2x longer to get it road worthy
the wheels are off of a 1990s Cadillac Deville SLS STS,
The engine is the stock and as far as I know original 3.8L v6 (pre-series 1 3800) with a 3 speed auto trans with the lockup converter, everything still functions on it (ie power windows, power locks, soft close truck, cornering lights, full touch climate control, auto leveling air system)
