My neighbor had this old Ford sitting behind his barn and I kept bugging him about selling it to me. He finally let me buy it off of him. I got it running (all it needed was the tires inflated and a new battery) and I drove it down the road to my house. Once there I had to replace all the brakes and master cylinder as I found it had no brakes on the short drive home. Once I got the brakes finished and was able to stop, my oil pump went out on a drive and I had to tow it home and replace the oil pump. I thought I was finally out of the woods and decided to go into town and then the fuel pump went out and I had to be towed home once again. I replaced the fuel pump and got it running again and it has only died on me only once more when I ran out of gas 500 yards from my house because the gas gauge doesn’t work. Future plans include fixing the fuel gauge, power steering upgrade and new wheels and tires. Then fixing the rust so I don’t get splashed in the face from the holes in the floor when it’s raining outside.
