Factree gas tank, the bracketry holding on to the engine, fancy redneck chrome seat cover

Build story

It started out as a stupid dream, then as a possibility, then a stupid, horrible reality. I built it to use as a daily ( at the time I was 11 so I couldn’t get a moped) and I was soon using it for everything from a hardware store parts gitter, to a towing rig, and a racing machine. As of right now it has 11,000 miles on it and is still on its original everything (with the exception of the mufflers and the tank) it is a single cylinder two-stroke glorified weedwacker putting out a whopping 1/2 a horse more than my garage door opener. As for displacement I have no idea the bore and stroke, but I do know the pistion is the exact same shape and size as a shot glass it puts out (supposedly) 2 1/2 hp and has had a slightly downhill top speed run clocking out at 55 miles per hour. It’s on a cheap “American built” knock off of a halfway decent mouantian bike. Previously it was on a 1940s beach cruiser but after destroying three back wheels due to my own stupidity I put it on the bike it is currently on. Both the front and rear wheels can be shaken around: up, down, side to side, and horizontally. I once went over a speed bump and all the ball bearings for the fork of the bike fell out. Keep in mind that when I went 55 on it, it was after all the above had happened. The mufflers just suck for these stupid kits and Im on my 17th one right now. The motor mounts came loose once and since there is only about an inch gap between the cylinder head and gas tank, whenever you gave it throttle the motor would slam into the plastic gas tank. Yeah, plastic. The “cooling” fins on the cylinder head melted a hole through the gas tank which I fixed by filling it with instant cement, flex seal, and dollar store superglue. It also has no front brakes. Last picture is the engine mounts.
