The hot side of the turbo is aftermarket, Crown 5401. 3 Gauges were added to the dash (before me).
Build story
Well, it was in a flood in 2001 and totaled by insurance, and stuffed in a private part of a junkyard (i think in a shed or somthing) and left to rot. It popped up on offerup for 400$ and a freind delivered it to us for 100$ (Long trip). Im 15 years old and i fell in love with this car when i saw it. Im a forth generation corvair owner, my great grandpa was GM trained to work on Corvairs in 1959. I got it to run for a few seconds, so i decided to paint all the engine tin. Everything was full of mud. inches in some places. Everything i touched had dust or dried mud. It still leaves a mess everytime i wash it. I rebuilt a set of heads, and put them on it, put a posi diff in it. Mostly by myself, as my dad works a lot. All in all, we are in it about 750$ and it runs, drives, and stops. It is a factory turbo model, even has its original engine. Pretty unique (and rusty) car.
