Build story
I was given this car in high school by my boss who was a huge Olds guy. He owned 3 442’s and a Vista Cruiser. This one was the worst shape and he graciously passed it on to me as long as I promised not to sell it. Over the period of about 15 years I have slowly brought it up to its current condition. I have done all of the work myself in a little 2 car garage including paint. I have made it into a Autocross/Pro Touring car that is an absolute blast to drive! It is not completed (are they ever really?) But it is my first true love and it will be passed on to my kids some day when I can no longer drive it. In what configuration by then? I have no idea... I live in Central Iowa so we get lots of time during the winter to get work done on our projects. I will update pictures as the project progresses. I hope to be on the Hot Rod Power Tour with it this year or next!
