Build story
My boyfriend and I built this ’71 Chevy El Camino in our small garage in California with BARELY enough tools to do the job. We swapped in a T56 transmission years ago and it was the best decision ever. Muscle cars are so much more fun with a 6-speed!
The car is slowly becoming a street legal drag car and the goal is to run this car in the stick shift classes at Hot Rod Drag Week and Rocky Mountain Race Week. My El Camino is also my most reliable car and has racked up thousands of miles on roadtrips.
