Build story
When I bought my first truck with no money and no ability to work on vehicles so I used it as learning exspeirence eventually I sold it and saw this on Facebook market place in the next town over it had a few issues listed. I drove by it and it was sitting 3-4 inches in the ground with a bunch of tractor tires piled in it over the roof. A few days later I messaged the guy and scheduled a time to see it. That weekend I went back to meet with guy and he was running late so, I started to look around it and it was rough. Then it started down pouring luckily it was unlocked so I rushed into the cab and waited. A little later he showed up. It took about 15 minutes to get started and barely ran the only thing that worked when I bought it was the headlights and radio. I ended up buying it after the test drive. I brought it home all 4 tires where flat and dry rotted. The gas tank was pouring gas all over out of the lines and tank I spent the next 7 months laying in my driveway into the late hours of the night almost completely rebuilding it till the truck you see today. I roughly have about $8,000 invested including the original purchase price of the truck for $1,000 and not including gas. I later found out the truck was orginally purchased by a local gas station/tire shop company then past through the hands of a couple different local farms until I purchased it. I have met all of the previous owners just driving it around and they all had their fair share of stories with truck and some even willing to help me get it to my goal. My whole goal from the start of this build was to have a super nice truck in the shell of an old work truck. Luckily Ive only had to replace things like brakes, fuel system and other similar things, otherwise the drive train is all orginal and pretty much untouched besides maintenance things. I currently only have a few more things to touch up until this beast is finished but you know what they say about project vehicles they're never done.
