I bought this beautiful thing 9 years ago from an old man who was about to haul it off to a field to rot after the city told him to clean his lot up. Being 16 and without the space or money to chase such a task I stashed it away at my grandparents place until I could. Last year after making decent money working in a machine shop for a couple years I got laid off toward the end of may and I figured what's better to do while a guys got the summer to twiddle his thumbs than to get an old hot rod moving again! A few friends and I went to dig it out of its bird poopy grave and my friend Jon and I spent the summer rebuilding a Pontiac 400 to replace the propane driven anemic 301 that was in it when I bought it. 3 months later she finally got to her first "show" which was just a meet down the street from me but hey, accomplishments! Right now I have to rebuild the front brake lines but after next week it should be a good time!
