Build story
Bought the car in November 2019, and 24 hours later(on the dot) the oil pressure light flickered on. Made it home from a block down the road when the oil light initially appeared, and in that time spun 2 rod bearings and a main bearing started to go. It sat for 8 months!! Meanwhile I slowly ordered parts to completely rebuild the engine with stronger, aftermarket parts. I was working a job that was based out of town, and my only vehicle at the time was a clapped-out, oil-burning, spark plug fouling TBI Chevy.
After I had all of the parts, I had trouble finding time to rebuild it due to working out of town. So, naturally, I quit my job! Built the car back up in 3 days, mostly single-handedly, found a new job, and moved to the Austin, TX area! After a little breaking in, and replacing some more parts, I'm actually ready to sell it (if anyone is interested, I will provide my email for contact).
This car rebuild was actually supposed to start up my dream of car vlogging, but I was too camera shy at the time unfortunately...
