All things are the way they came with her in 1966 except for the bonehead rims and bonehead exhaust.Lots of parts are from some poor Charger sitting in a bone yard out west.

Build story

This car was going to be a ridiculous resto-mod.(Im talking about Vegas lights and modern seats and just weird stuff!)I bought this car 7 years ago and prevented her from being butchered. This is a very solid low mileage car. The only real weight reduction has been me taking the spare out of the trunk to free up a few ponies. She now has about 128 hp coming from the original 318 poly. I have spent about 100 hours banging out and cutting and welding about 250 dings. The car had actually hit a pole pretty hard prior to me buying her. I daily drive this car when the weather is good. This car has been and still is such a fun family car. My kids have been growing up with this car. It is really part of the family. I have replaced everything that makes this car go and stop and steer and light up.This car had never had anything changed or worked on ever!I drive it, break it, fix it daily. I have owned a million old cars and this one is really just sweet. I also found the original bill-of-sale and owners manual sort of hidden in the car. (Very cool find) I haven’t painted the car because then I will have to worry about it. Every summer she picks up new dings from the kids’ bikes and what not so I’m not too motivated to paint her. I’m still looking for a drivers door panel and a front bumper.(I caught a stone wall with it.)Life is way better when you bomb around an old junker. This body style was only made in 66 and 67. I think the 66 is better because it has better tail lights than the 67. This was also the first car that came with the 426 Hemi. Anyway, I’ve never rambled about my junk for so long in all my life!
