Build story
This car was parked in 2005 after it started running bad. The original owner replaced the stock carb with a new Weber DGAV carb, but the car still ran bad, so was abandoned in the backyard until 2019 when it was purchased for parts.
After removing several parts, taillights, interior plastics and trim, passenger seat, etc, it became mine.
The car hadnt been started since 2005, there was a mouse nest in the carburetor throat.
I’ve spent the last couple months getting it running, roadworthy, and safe in anticipation for a road trip halfway across the country.
I’m just about ready to go.
