Build story
I bought this truck from a guy about an hour away from me early 2020. The truck had not been street legal since before I was even born (it was last tagged June of 2001). When we picked it up, we had a horrible time loading it as all wheels had locked up. The motor was tore apart, the transmission was a question mark, and the gas tank was shot. Structurally, the body was eaten up with rust. I coated the frame in POR 15 and completely redone all the brakes. I threw a 305 and a 4 speed Saginaw in it that I had bought together and relocated the gas tank to under the bed. I replaced the inside lights with LEDs and mounted electric leather seats. For the exhaust I have stainless quad pipes on each side and electric cutouts for whenever Johnny Law isn’t around. It’s definitely far from perfect but not bad for a teenager fresh out of high school.
