Currently building a Vortec 350 with 9.5:1 compression pistons, and the biggest cam I can fit with factory valve springs. Engine will be backed by a Craigslist 700R4. Engine will be controlled by FiTech 400 TBI fuel injection.
Build story
I purchased this car from a gentleman for $1600. He had bought it in 2004 and removed the original 2.8l and 700R4 with intentions of throwing a 400 small block in it. He never finished the build tho, so the car sat in his garage until October of 2020 when I purchased it. I’m currently a high school senior and I’ve just finished rebuilding an engine for it in my vocational class at school. My goal is to be able to drive the car to my high school graduation.
