Build story
Truck had factree 4.3 v6. I put a 350 sbc that was the original motor that was in my grandfathers 1971 gmc. When my grandfather passed away the truck went to my father it was the 1st manual I learned how to drive in. When I was 14 I kinda blew the motor up in it. My dad has had that motor ever since. Dec of 2019 my father gave me that engine. It had 2 spun rod bearings in it. Me and my 8 year old daughter tore it all down and rebuilt it from the oil pan to the valve covers. Then we decided that since it came out of a gmc that it needed to go back into one. So that's what we did.
