Still has the factory six cylinder 3 speed on the column, aluminum radiator with electric fan, traction bars and 14” X 8” rear Draglites with 4” Draglites in the front.
Build story
I found the car in Sweetwater TN in flat black Walmart spray paint with a wrecked quarter panel and the guy had two rats in the back window and a full size stuffed tiger “Karen” in the car so l knew I needed it. Kept the car fairly original because it is a 9 on old cool factor and sprayed the car with Eastwood’s Satin Black to give an old school look inside and out. Painted brake drums and traction bars red and found the old red caps for the Draglites. Painted engine and trans factory blue after replacing gaskets and clutch assembly in what I call my “Walmart car.” Everyone needs a dependable old car to cruise around in and go to the grocery store.
