My 1983 Volkswagen vanagon westfalia it has/had a full camper interior (under construction), a rear mounted 1.9L water cooled gas flat four engine (original), four speed manual transmission (original), pop top for camping (original), upgraded headlights to led’s with halos and halo turn signals integrated in. She sat for 17+ years in a barn in NH until I finally convinced the owners to sell her to me, after looking for a bus since I was 12 years old I was determined to buy one though money was always an issue, after having some medical issues a few years back and spending weeks in the ICU after dying and being brought back I knew now was the time to finally find a bus and buy one! We got her running and drive her home with no working lights, unknown age of the oil, unknown condition of the brakes or any of the running gear.... but we did mount new tires on the rims for safety (vice grip style ??). The former owners named her flo which is subject to change after I’m finished restoring her. She has original paint inside and out and an original fiberglass pop top with original canvas tent still, though it’s in rough shape. The plan is to restore her and travel full time across the U.S. while living out of the bus like the true hippie I am and working on my photography business as income. she is daily driven in the summer but parked for the winters. She has her own Insta @83_vibes where I post all the progress, headaches, and adventures, ect. I love watching all you guys videos! I’m always learning new things and new tricks from them keep up the awesome work!
