THIS CAR IS ALL ORIGINAL/UNRESTORED. All stock parts minus upgrading parts that needed to be fixed to get it back on the road again. Only upgrades thats not stock is the exhaust system, coil, water pump and radiator. But those where the stuff on the &to get it back on the road again& list
Build story
My grandpas brother (Ray) found this car off of one of his friends parents or in a magazine (im not really too sure since I was little at the time and didn#039;t pay any attention). But Ray told my grandpa about it. Gramps didn#039;t originally wanna buy it but his brother kept bugging him to buy it. so my grandpa did the right thing and bought it. The original owner used to only use it as a grocery getter and a church car, it was a little ol lady that owned it. He bought this car with 14,414 miles on it...yes that low of miles in that good of shape. And I believe he got this car for under 10k my grandpa passed away 3 years ago from prostate cancer. So I couldnt leave this car sit and not be on the road cause I know pops would be having it on the road today. So last spring I got it out from under the dusty car cover it was under in our shop, got some basic tune up parts and got it running the same day & and during the summer I gave it it#039;s first ever full detail that took 3 days to do. This year I#039;m gonna be entering it in a lot of shows to show off and tell this cool story about this car. I bet money this is one of the best all original ford fairlanes in this good of shape in the whole US and probably the whole world. How many cars do you see that still has the original dealership sticker that it came from in Odebolt IA still look brand new? Not many. (Some of the pics uploaded good and some uploaded bad in quality. I have an android so cut me some slack lol)
