Build story

Found her in Boise from a guy who said "it runs". She did, on about 4 cylinders. Enough to drive her home a 1/2hour. Over the time, I've been going to the junk yard or LMC and sourcing parts to fix'r up. My goal was to make her reliable, have everything work and solid however while leaving her "stock, old," on the outside. We did chop out the cab corners and the floorboards for fresh meat, but otherwise, rust free. The electric fan, radiator hoses and radiator in a 300 is challenging for space, however once I found an aluminum cookie sheet to use as the fan shroud, cut down some other hoses, it all came together. Inside she is pretty much new and now is my daily driver and has been for 5yrs. Lots of camping, hunting, drive-in movies and overlanding here in the Owyhees. In one photo, that's us with all the new rigs during the CoyoteWorks Overlanding trip (youtube). I know people like short boxes, but you can't fit a bunch of drunk, passed-out adults in the bed of those.
I may hose'r down this summer and knock off the big chunks. She's not for sale so let's just all calm down.
